FOUNDATION HISTORY

In the mid-eighties, we started our journey by trying to discover the meaning of life, aiming to know our real selves and trying to realize the values and beauties of being a real human being.

From the beginning, our inspiration was the philosophy and work of our founder Mualla Sevim Güven. The increase of awareness about being human and the realization of this awareness, also led and pioneered us in the creation of an institutional structure. We established the Sun of Wisdom Association in 1990 to work for unifying humanity around wisdom, together with individuals who can bring out the sun of wisdom within tehmselves. Then, in 1999, we integrated our goals and efforts to build a culture of reconciliation and peace, especially in our beloved country, under the umbrella of the Sun of Humanity Foundation.

There is no doubt that humanity deserves to live in a happy and peaceful world. We sincerely believe that many individuals, institutions and organizations with similar aims are working for such a world. We continue our work in order to serve humanity and the rise of humanity’s consciousness.

Who is Mualla Sevim GÜVEN?

Mualla Sevim GÜVEN, who focused on human and all human sciences, is a thinker, a researcher in the direction of change and development and a future designer who is interested in philosophy, psychology, sociology, theosophy. She carried out various studies with the awareness and belief that the reason for existence of human, who has an infinite potential, is knowing true self and self-realization.

She shared her knowledge and experience on constantly renewing the mindset, liberating the mind and truth seeking with people who are interested and she inspired them to take their own development journey and guided them when necessary.

Her studies include wisdom consciousness, individual and social development and leadership and extend to understanding and examining the spiritual heritage of Gazi Mustafa Kemal Atatürk and his vision to raise our country above the level of contemporary civilizations, and working on the duties and responsibilities he entrusted to us. The seminars and interviews she conducted within this scope continued for many years with the continuous participation of the attendants.

All the studies and projects that started under the leadership of Mualla Sevim Güven, have been undertaken and continously progressed by her companions since December 21, 2010, the date she left for eternity.
